V8 5 speed Getrag box. Came out of a series 3 vs v8 commodore Ute at approximately 150000KM Was running fine in all forward gears when removed but lost reverse. Might be an easy fix for someone that has the knowledge. We removed and fitted a 6speed. These gearboxes are fitted to the last of the vs v8 Utes and all VT 5.0 304 Holden powered manuals with the roller cam engine. Gearbox is located in my shed down south so if serious buyer I’ll get it back to perth happy to take offers. Cheers

Mercedes W116 4.5Lt V8 and Transmission with VS Commodore (5.0 Common rail Fuel Injection). I bought this Car with the intention to use the running gear for my 280CE project. The previous owner claims the engine and transmission were rebuilt in 2017. (but he lost the paperwork).
