Hard to find info on this speaker model from Sony Japan – our guess would be that they originally came as part of a Hi-Fi package. They were obviously built to a price point (the grilles are non removeable for instance), but to their credit Sony engineers created a good sounding speaker! Looks are typically late 70s, large, with a woodgrain finish, and brown grille cloth. The design looks like three way, but in fact is 10 inch two way, with the addition of a cleverly designed passive radiator
