This is a lovely jewellery box made either early 1900s or possibly earlier. It has a beautiful burgundy coloured and tooled leather cover with good quality hinges, handle and working lock with key. It is 20 cms x 14.5cms x 9cms. There is some age related wear as expected for a personal antique item but the box is very sturdy and overall in great condition. Large vintage Oak wall clock body never completed. This wonderful wall clock carcass was made by a third generation violin / clockmaker but never had a clock or movement installed.
