From the 1930s to the 1970s, the English china company Wade produced amazing China figurines known as Wade Whimseys. They also made larger versions on trays, and even more rarely, Pipe Holders. This is a pipe holder that has a beautiful German Shepherd next to it. As with all Wade items, the glazes are amazing, and make the piece fabulous. The piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. The Wade makes mark is on the base.

This large round tin was made in the 1950s, probably to hold Christmas themed biscuits. The tin is approx 25cm in diameter and 11cn talk, with a lid depicting a child opening a Christmas present under a Christmas tree. The tree is festooned with old mercury glass decorations and ornaments. Those ornaments are then shown on the side.of the tin, in lovely 1950s graphics. The tin is in great condition, has no rust, clean graphics, no dents and little wear.

Straight from the 1980s, this large Arnott's biscuit tin is not only big, at almost 30cm across, it is true blue patriotic! The tin bears a Koala on the lid, and on the body has panels showing iconic Australian wildlife. Kangaroos, kookaburras, emus, they're all there! The tin is in good condition with the lid opening easily but fitting snugly. The graphics are great and there is no external rust and very minor internal rust. There are no dents or splits.

This small urn was probably used ornamentally as a post vase or bud vase. Standing about 7cm tall it has a classical vase shape with a clinched neck, wide mouth and opposing handles. The neck has a band of circles in pistachio on the ivory underglaze, with the body bearing the motto 'If you can't be aisy, Be as aisy as you can'. The base is a great piece in unusual colours, and is in great condition. I is red clay, and marked England on the base.

At approx 10cm tall this tea caddy is a beautiful mid size caddy. It is Silver plated over nickel or copper, with 8 74463 L on the base. The hinged top has an asymmetrical pattern in a wreath that is festooned with flowers, bullrushes and Gadrooning, while the sides have more pronounced Gadrooning but not in a raised relief. The hinges work perfectly, the top fits snugly, but isn't stiff. The caddy is in very good condition.

Made in the 1930s by the English ceramics company of Roslyn, this cake serving plate is beautiful. It is approx 28cm in width, has a squares design with the traditional lug handles on each side. The serving plate has a white underglaze with a beautiful floral pattern, with gold gilt on the raised filagree work. The piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. The makers mark is on the base.

Created in the 1950s to 1960s these jugs were made for bars and restaurants, usually with advertising of some form. This jug is 19cm tall, with a crisp white underglaze and a large orange motif with "Yield" in black letters. The makers mark is on the base.

Created in the early 1930s this tray was used to held small metal fittings for steel workers as they assembled and worked on pieces. The thin gauge steel is assembled into compartments with sloped sides to make it easier to slide.piecea out when wearing gloves. The piece is in good condition and can still be used, but it's industrial charm makes it a great decorators piece.

Made in the early 1960s, this thick gauge tin tray is approximately 40cm in diameter. It has a raised rim and lip, making it extremely strong. The tray has a white undercoat, with the front having a wonderful print of two Sandpipers on it. The picture is photo realistic, and quite beautiful. The tray is practical and useful, and has some scratches, but mostly is in great shape.

Delightful, cheeky and irreverent, this gorgeous little monkey is cast in bronze, with one arm raised and one arm down, in a classical monkey gesture. The monkey is deep bronze, with the face, knees and upright arm more polished from where people touch them. They are sitting on a small rectangle of ivory, standing stable and secure. The whole piece is under 50mm, but is delightfully detailed and wonderful. It has no damage whatsoever and is in perfect condition.

Used by a farrier as a tray to hold different length nails, this is a handmade tray divided into three sections. The base is made of light gauge steel / tin with the sides bent over and hot riveted together (a hot steel pin was based with hammers, not using a rivet gun). Inside two small pieces of Oregon pine divide the tray into thirds. It's a fabulous prim, or primitive antique, and a brilliant decorative piece. It measures 28cm X 15cm X 6cm. The rust and dust is free.
