Huge vintage 1920s pewter hammered finish tray - Unity Pewter
Unity Pewter made this enormous drinks tray in the 1920s. As a serving tray it could be used in bars, to serve drinks, meals or simply to display items. The platter has a wonderful deep patina, and no staining or discolouration. The platter is enormous, and is almost 52cm long and 40cm deep. Even though it's huge, the rolled edged collar makes sure that the tray is stable and can lift heavy loads. The tray is in excellent condition, and has the Unity makers mark (touch mark) of 'Unity pewter -

3 Vintage English fine bone china side plates - Tuscan china
These three English fine bone china side plates were made by Tuscan china, part of the Wedgwood group, in the 1960s. The three side plates have a soft white underglaze with hand painted blue decorations on the raised rim. The plates are in great condition, and have the makers mark on the base. Vintage 1940s English fine bone china came serving plate - Gladstone
Made by Gladstone, the English china company, in England in the 1940s, this cake serving plate is approx 28cm across. It has a squared firm with rounded corners and the traditional twin lug handles. The serving plate has a white underglaze with a black glaze border and gold gilt rim with gilt raised filigree on the handles. The serving plate is in excellent condition with the Gladstone makers mark on the base.

These two teacup saucers were made by Paragon china just after became Paragon after their name change from Star china. The saucers are scalloped and star edged, with cross hatched and basket weaved decoration with a wonderful 1930s black band and chain and dart filigree work. Vintage Victorian large glass domed frog
This glass frog is approximately 13cm across, and has 16 holes for flower stems. Perfect for a vase or float bowl, the frog is more than 100 years old but in perfect condition. The frog has a substantial rim to keep it off the sides of any vase, and.low doming to make flower arranging easier.

Vintage English fine bone china vanity tray
Made by the great George Jones & Sins under the brand of Crescent China, this tray is approximately 15cm across. It has a soft white underglaze with amazing decorations of pastel flowers and posies, with lashings of feathered edge gold gilt. The straight edge rim is scalloped and heavily gilt. The piece is in amazing condition with no cracks, chips or crazing. The makers mark is on the base.

We know these plates are for serving fish because the plates are actually shaped like fish, the plates are decorated with fish, and the plates also have pictures of fish condiments (parsley and lemon). Vintage Victorian glass frog

Vintage blue and white china serving platter - Carrigaline Ireland
Made by the Irish pottery company, Carrigaline, more than 50 years ago, this huge platter has a soft white underglaze with concentric circles of cornflower blue. The platter has a dip to make it easier to serve towards the edge of the platter, making it wonderfully designed. The platter is a huge 30cm in diameter. The 6th photo has a saucer on the platter for a size reference. The platter is in perfect condition and has the makers mark on the base.

Vintage Irish blue and white china coffee cup trio
The Carrigaline Pottery works in County Cork Ireland made these gorgeous pieces of blue and white china more than 50 years ago. The coffee mug, saucer and plate are still in amazing condition, with the audit white and cornflower blues being undimmed and vibrant. This gorgeous blue and white chine was made in Ireland at the Carrigaline pottery works in County Cork. The trio is made up of a teacup, saucer and side plate, all with a soft white underglaze and beautiful concentric circles in a cornflower blue glaze. All pieces are in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or crazing. Carrigaline in this condition is as rare as hens teeth, and far more beautiful. There are three trios available.

Vintage Brownie Downing Salt shaker - child with kookaburra
This salt shaker depicting a small Australian Aboriginal child with a kookaburra is a work from the famous Brownie Downing. The salt shaker is approx 8cm tall with a tan underglaze, the decorative art and some gold gilt filigree work on the top. The base has a plastic stopper and is marked 'Made in Japan. This single open salt is a wonderful.pink colour, with a slight oval shape, a starburst base and scalloped edges. Coloured open salts, especially pink ones much sought after, and this is a very beautiful example.

In the 1950s Japan began en export drive to fund their post WWII rebuilding program. Central to that effort were simple, colourful ceramic items such as this pair of 1950s salt and pepper shakers. At the time, the low price and bright coloured glazes mesmerised a public slowly emerging in from the rationing of the war, eager for colour and a lighthearted approach. Vintage candles / tapers in original box
Back in the day, candles and tapers were used much more frequently than they are now. This an original box of tapers that are almost 40cm.long. Most of the tapers have been lit once, and then put back in to storage in the box, so they have a lot of love left to give.

Vintage Carlton ware Rouge Royale dish
The great china company of Carlton Ware made some wonderful pieces of high quality ceramics from the 20s to the 50s. One of their more exclusive ranges was Rouge Royale that featured a distinctive deep ox blood.purple glaze and extensive use of gold gilt. This Rouge Royale dish is lozenge shaped, about 30cm long, with wonderful knots at each terminal end. The dish is in fantastic condition and has the Carlton Ware and Rouge Royale makers marks on the base.
