Vintage English Fine Bone China cup and saucer duo

Made in the 1960s by the English china company Queen Anne, this cup and saucer duo is in perfect condition. The cup is a standard London sized teacup and has a white Underglaze with wonderful flower and foliage decoration, which is also on the saucer. The Queen Anne makers mark is on the base.

Vintage 1970s mid century design ramekin / tureen

Made in Norway in the 1970s this lidded tureen or soup bowl is about 12cm.in diameter excluding the handles. The exterior is largely unglazed bisque ceramic but the interior is glazed a wonderful toffee colour. The pot looks remarkably like a cute mushroom, giving it a real Goblincore feel. The pot is in excellent condition, and marked 'Norway' on the base.

Pair of vintage 1970s pottery goblets.

These two goblets stand approximately 18cm tall. They are made with rough thrown clay so have a rustic mediaeval charm. Both goblets are in excellent condition and have the makers mark on the base. The price is for both goblets as a set, so they are effectively $1.50 per goblet.

Vintage Prinknash pottery vase - black glaze

Made by the Benedictine monks at Prinknash Abbey pottery in the 1950s, this 15cm tall vase has a deep black glaze that is highlighted with a lead / saltglaze finish. The vase has two lug handles and a deep raised relief rose which could be a reference to the house of Lancaster or York The vase is in excellent condition and has the Prinknash makers mark on the base.

Vintage 1950s steel hinged biscuit tin - Yorkie

This tin was made in the 1950s. The tin is approx 30cm X 20cm, hinged on the right side. The lid has a yellow border over a red base, but the principle graphic is a Yorkshire Terrier with a big bow. It's a cute dog, but I happen to think the dog looks pretty cranky, which makes the tin even better. The tin has great graphics, no dents, no rust and the hinges are smooth and functional.

Vintage 1950s Irish black thorn souvenir Shillelagh

This Shillelagh was made from the branch and trunk segment of a blackthorn hedge in Ireland in the 1950s. Designed as souvenirs, the small shillelaghs were still able to be used as fighting sticks, but for close contact whacking. The Shillelagh is approx 35 cm long, with black painted sides. The tip of the trunk segment has an amazing decal of Ireland. It's a beautiful piece, and not roate and hard to find.

Vintage 1950s Irish souvenir Shillelagh

In the 1950s you could buy shillelaghs as souvenirs of your visit to the Emerald Isle. This Shillelagh is from a branch of a blackthorn hedge, where the branch emerges from the trunk. Like older traditional shillelaghs, this one has been painted black with the bark intact, and the core of the part you smack people with painted with a three leaf clover. Teacups come in three general sizes. The smallest is a demitasse sized cup known as the Norfolk size. The normal size is called the London size, and the really big ones are known as the Irish size, although sometimes people call it the Grandfather size. This cup and saucer duo is in the Irish size.
