1978 JVC JR-S100 Large AM/FM Receiver Amplifier Silver Restored w WTY
It was a lot of work brining this one back from the dead, but what a satisfying result! At the time Japan’s JVC were a major player, and their 1977 designed JR-S100 is a big imposing receiver, with a big sound that belies its 22 watt per channel rating. It can drive two speaker zones, and is capable of handling a 4Ω load. In addition to the high performance and sensitive AM / FM stereo tuner section there’s an input for a turntable, plus two line level (aux) sources. The tuner itself is tuned
