This truck has not missed a beat for our entire trip. It's been regularly serviced (last one only a week ago) and prior to our trip we had new leaf springs installed in the front which improved the ride quality greatly. Very comfortable cruising at around 90kph whilst towing or at 100kp when unladen. The off grid solar is serious, there was never a time we couldn't flick the air conditioner on if we needed it. On our travels our system was often the talk of the park with it outshining a lot of modern vans. The Truck used an average of 21.55L per 100km on the trip, 98% of that was whilst towing. This is better than what a lot of Car/Caravan combos are getting. We purchased for out holiday 18 months ago.
Suzuki 2011 Grand Vitara 3 door.
247,000kms
with Predator A Frame tow setup (with engineering cert.)
This little beast was a godsend. Wouldn't motorhome Aus without a tow vehicle, makes it so much easier to get around. You can hook up /unhook in around a minute once you get the hang of it. Still quicker than unhitching a Caravan.
Car has a few little war wounds which align with the fact its been pulled around Australia and taken us some places which, quite frankly, a little car like that shouldn't. But it's held up well. Regularly serviced. Always got us where it needed to get us and in nice cool air conditioning.
If this sounds like something you might be interested in, feel free to get in touch to chat a bit more. happy for anyone to take a look if they'd like to
