Wanted: WANTED: Old worm farms, worm farm trays, etc
Negotiable
Hi there,
If you're in the Canberra area (or know someone who's heading that way) and have an old worm farm that you aren't using, we'd be interested in it as long as it's a modest price. We don't necessarily care if it's incomplete, or damaged, has fallen over and can't get up (legs broken/missing). Basically, we're looking salvage them or at least the working trays, and put them back to work.
Also, please keep us in mind if you find anyone else who has a worm farm to offer. (It never hurts to ask, right?)
We currently have a "Can of Worms" (the circular model found in most hardware stores) and a "Worm Café" (the rectangular ones also found in most hardware stores)...so we can rotate/integrate parts from either of those models. But if you have something else, please feel free to let me know, and we can discuss it.
Now I know we can order more parts from the manufacturer, but I'd like to recycle whatever's out there and maybe help people downsize or clear out whatever they don't need. We just generate more kitchen scraps than our little farms can handle.
If you know of a spare worm farm, I only need to know a handful of simple things to save everyone some time. (However, a photo would also help, I won't judge if the farm is dirty, or covered in cobwebs):
1. What you have, the condition, and asking price.
2. Where can we meet for inspection/pickup.
3. A good time for you to meet up.
Please note: I'm frequently unable to take calls since I operate loud machinery in a loud environment. If you do call, please leave a message. However, I check my emails far more frequently, so using this messaging service or texting me will result in a faster response time.
Thank you for reading this far.
Kind Regards,
Hamish.

- Sidchrome SCMT50207 seven drawer rolling cabinetSidchrome seven drawer tool trolley (Model: SCMT50207) This is definitely better than some of the cheaper brands of tool chests I've owned. However, I'm rebuilding my garage workshop from scratch with much larger drawers, so it is surplus to requirements, and needs a home where it's appreciated. Used, but in very good condition. Some minor scuffs and some dust in places. Still has the stickers on it, all keys work and never bent or fatigued. Currently sells for $711.50 new, I'm selling for $$550Amaroo, ACT•6w
