Mitsubishi PAJERO Brake booster HBB ABS MOTOR $330 change over
Is you brake pedal solid and dont work? Why pay from $750 for a complete secondhand ABS brake system when it just the motor. Reconditioned with 2 year unlimited km warranty when you also purchase a new Mitsubishi accumulator aswell for$660.
You can just purchase a motor by itself but only come with a six month warranty or 40k whatever comes first.
Changeover units available( if in stock) or drive in, drive out fitted $440
Update...
You can do this with a few basic tools
1 disconnect the battery
2 disconnect abs wires from the module
3 undo the 4 brake lines from the matercylinder/booster
4 undo 4 nuts inside the car holding brake/abs to the firewall
5 undo the pin that the unit connects to the brake arm assembly by pulling out the splitpin with your fingers or plyers
6 remove unit from the car
7 separate abs motor from unit with a 5mm allen key and to be careful not to lose the round connector between motor and unit
8 follow reverse steps with the new unit.
9 top up brake fluid reservoir and pump the brake pedal at least 30 to 40 times until you get a hard pedal. Whilst holding the hard pedal crack the forward facing brake lines of the unit till the
Pedal drops(make sure you hold the pedal to the floor) until you have tightened the brake line nuts.
Pump the brakes again until you have hard pedal then crack the bleed nut on the RHS rear caliper and the abs motor will take over bleeding and stop. Then tighten the bleed nut.
