$75
SHIPPING OFFERED
Offered for sale is this graduating pair of vintage 20th Century West German glazed ceramic vases, designed by Karl Nossek made by Alboth & Kaiser (Kaiser-Porzellanmanufaktur Staffelstein K.G.) and dating from the 1980’s. The company was started by August Alboth in 1872, and in various iterations over 150 years continues production today. Designer Karl Nossek joined the company in the 1970’s and created much of their tablewear during this time (as well as working for Porzellanfabrik Seltmann and Porzellanfabrik Winterling).
In a stylish Art Deco Revival style each features an unusual, slimline white porcelain body with repeated grey and white stepped bands around the neck and lower sections.
Very Bahaus/Mid-Century Modern, great decorator pieces for any home or business.
In very good original condition – no cracks or chipping. There is some very light patination that confirms these as being vintage items and not modern reproductions.
The larger vase measures 18.5cm (h) x 5.2cm (w); the smaller is 11cm x 3.3cm (w) approximately.
Please check the photos as they form part of the item description.
