Vintage 20th Cent East European violet and gilt glass vase MCM chic
$45
SHIPPING OFFERED
Offered for sale is this 20th Century violet and clear glass gold-gilt vase, most likely Eastern European in origin and estimated to date from the 1950’s to 1960’s. The factory is unknown.
The smart design features an ovoid, dimpled body with raised points - each of which has been highlighted with gold gilding to add interest and a touch over luxury. Over time the gilded points have slightly worn with cleaning, creating a unique and attractive patination. The moulded glass body is heavy and has good weight.
In an attractive Mid-Century Modern style, this vase will suit either a purely decorative or practical use for any home of business.
In very good original condition, there is one very tiny frit inside the lip (as pictured), hard to see but wanted to note for a full item description. The base features wear appropriate with this being a correct vintage item and not modern reproduction.
Measures 19.6cm (h) x 13cm (diameter, at widest) approximately.
Please check the pictures as they form part of the item description.
Cash or direct deposit sale only. Cash or direct deposit sale only.
