Hand-decorated blue and white porcelain fish/fruit/cake tray
$35
SHIPPING OFFERED
Offered for sale is this charming hand-decorated blue-and-white porcelain dish. The maker and country of origin is unknown but is most likely Asian (possibly Thailand or the Philippines).
Hand-painted in a deep blue, the attractive design is a stylised fish on a white porcelain moulded body. You can see where the decorator has applied individual strokes and the colour has pooled after their brush has been lifted – nice to see this human touch rather than a transfer-print.
A fun decorative as well as practical piece – it can be used purely for display; or holding cakes/fruit/lollies as well as for presenting seafood dishes.
In excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
Measures 37cm (l) x 14cm (w) x 4.5cm (d) approximately.
Please check the photos as they form part of the item description.
Cash or direct deposit sale only. Can freight at buyers expense (must include insurance for damage or loss) or can personally deliver to Macedon Ranges, Melbourne, Geelong or Ballarat CBD’s for a fee. Where possible (or upon request) a physical inspection is available and always encouraged. Accurate as possible description at time of listing, however like any secondhand item is sold without guarantee or return so please ask any questions before purchase - as any sale is final.
