This coffee table from Workshop87 stands 450mm tall and a solid 560mm across. The top is a solid single seasoned round of Marri taken from a 50m. Thick slab. The round top had all of the character and graining you would want from Marri, with large gum veins and colours ranging from black to light tan. The base is made from cane, with a willow core. The coffee tea is light yet sturdy, finished in a coat of pure beeswax for low maintenance care.

This incredible coffee table from Workshop87 is made from just one large solid piece of Marri. No joins, no veneers, just one solid beam. This unique tree trunk coffee table has features rarely found together in Western Australian hardwood. The living edge table is a large slab of Tuart with the living edge sanded and smoothed to make it clothing safe and snag free. The outer edge has amazing dimples and dots from where a burl had been forming in two seperate places. The Tuart had a trunk that was more than 75cm across, so after it was felled to make way for more pasture land we saved it from being burnt (and its stored carbon being rereleased back into the atmosphere) to turn it into coffee tables.
