Book Keeper and more for hire
Need a book keeper?
I am writing this advertisement for my Mother-in-Law. I have watched her work some long days for big companies and become worn out by increasing demands and it breaks my heart. I know she loves what she does and feels disappointed that she never went back and finished her accounting degree after her children grew up. She knows book work inside and outside and has loved finance since she first studied finance after she finished school in South Africa and she wants to keep doing what she loves. However, she is not after the exhausting days and commute anymore. She currently maintains the books for one small company. She is willing to contract for up to 20 hours per week.
She is after for book keeping for small business, accounts payable or help with accounts. She doesn’t mind if she is needed a few hours every week or for a few hours at months end. She has been involved in the finance sector since she was 20. Her career has spanned over three continents and she has been a diligent employee for banks, accounting firms, real estate firms, farm supply stores, law firms, adventure companies. She has demonstrated that she is highly capable within her field. She completed a Diploma of Financial Management is Durban South Africa and had started studying accounting through the Institute of Chartered Accountants but had to defer to look after her family. She has trained people who now contract for 150$/hr and as recent as 2022 was head hunted to work for an accounting firm for an enticing amount but declined their offer as she is in her winding down years and no longer seeks the fast pace and the long commute that she has been doing for so many years. She is swapping the high life for time in her garden, seeing the sunrise and sunset from her front porch with cups of tea and charity work. Her work life will now be focused on small businesses, family run businesses, sole traders and the like from the comfort of her own home, with a visit to the place of business when required.
If you are after someone who has the knowledge of an accountant to help you out, someone you can leave a job to and have peace of mind it will be done according to regulations and high standards, then this is your book keeper. She is willing to work with any company in Australia or New Zealand. Below are only a few points of her skill set. She is proficient in doing everything a CPA can do.
If this sounds like someone who can help you, please email with details on your company, and the services required and a response will be made from her within 3 working days. She looks forward to hearing from you.
