- Blue quandong and Australian red cedar treesBoth are *very* fast-growing natives. Already have a blue quandong growing and it has doubled in height since Spring 2023. These are a fruiting rainforest tree, but it is clearly thriving in Wollongong. In the photos, it is the potted one next to the fence and ours is shown in the group photo -- the taller one in front of the Illawarra flame, with the extended central stem. - Pot of Lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus)A good-sized pot of several mature lemongrass plants. Dimensions of pot are 200 mm diameter x 225 mm high, and the lemongrass is about 600 mm tall again. This is the culinary West Indian one - photo 2 shows a closeup of the green stems. East Indian lemongrass (not as preferred for eating though still highly ornamental) is easily recognised by the distinct purple tinge all through the stems and leaves.
