A beautifully engineered product from JVC Japan in 1975 that both looks and sounds much bigger than the 2x18W into 4Ω specification would suggest. A very satisfying amplifier indeed.
The VN300 can drive two speaker zones (independently or combined), and has inputs for a turntable, a microphone, and four line level (aux) inputs including the tape monitor loop.
Tone control is provided via indented high quality sliders (the balance control is a slider too), and loudness compensation is fitted. The unit is also fitted with both a high cut and low cut filter, and a mono switch.
