Hilarious memoir from Canberra vinyl record dealer!
$25
If you're a fan of both comedy and vinyl records, you will love my first book, 'Might As Well Be Me'.
The life and times of an unconventional and quick-witted Australian vinyl record dealer in 50 hilarious bite-sized chapters, each linked to a particular record. Themes include the fads of youth, travel, celebrity encounters, memorable gigs, life in cars, life at sea, poker addiction, horrible flatmates and hopeless attempts at romance.
Several chapters also cover my life on the road buying and selling vinyl, and the weird and wonderful characters I met along the way. I often found myself laughing, crying, reeling in horror or rolling my eyes, sometimes all in the same day, if not the same hour!
The book has already had lots of positive reviews (to give you an idea, look up the review in BMA magazine). Even Mr Tim Rogers and Mr Joe Dolce (who are referenced in the book) have copies!
Available at Paperchain Manuka, Johnny The Fox Records inside Dirty Jane's Fyshwick, Abbey's Books in Sydney, OR online at Abbeys Books, Booktopia, Amazon and Pegasus Publishers.
