Starter Plants for Bonsai 140mm Pots
$13
These are plants that I've grown for bonsai (but you could do whatever you like with them). They need further growth and development.
They are in 140mm pots.
Varieties I have:
Buxus (Japanese)....develops a "furrowed" looking bark. Slow growing. Popular for bonsai.
Dwarf Umbrella (Schefflera)....hardy species that can make an interesting bonsai. (SORRY, NONE ATM)
Fig Port Jackson (Rubiginosa)....a very popular Aussie native really suitable for bonsai.
Fig (Tiger Bark)....again, very popular for bonsai.
Juniper Squamata Prostrata....they're one of my favourites and can develop into a worthwhile tree relatively quickly. Versatile tree suitable for many styles. (SORRY, NONE ATM)
Lemonwood - Aussie native. Not as common as bonsai. Can make a nice speciman. Has flowers but not what they are known for.
Wisteria Chinese (Sinensis)....develops an aged looking bark/trunk. Purple/blue colour flowers. I haven't seen these in flower so it could be a while before they do (as is the case with wisteria).
Trifoliata....irregular growth habit with large thorns. Can making striking trees....1 left I think
1 for $13 or
2 for $20
When they're gone, they're gone!

- Port Jackson Fig (Rusty) Starters for Bonsai from $7Port Jackson Fig (ficus rubignosa) are known as the 'Rusty" fig. They were called this because of the 'rusty' "colour" on the underside of their leaves Not all Port Jacksons have this characteristic. These trees I'm selling are cuttings from a stock tree that has the rusty colour on the underside of its leaves. Because they are cuttings they will remain true to the parent plant (pictured), ie, have the rusty "colour" on the bottom of the leaves. Anyway, no big deal but here's some if you lik$7Castle Hill, NSW•13h
