28ft CATAMARAN 2004 Roomy Great Design could be a houseboat
$89,000 Negotiable
" TIGER " designed and built by well known WHITSUNDAY shipwright Mal Hone in 2004 originally for his own personal use. Towards the end of the construction it was noticed by a local couple who feel in love with "Tiger" and subsequently purchased her. They sailed around the Whitsundays until age cought up with them at which point we purchased her in 2019. We arranged to have her sail from Airlie to Coffs Harbour, hauled her out onto the hard stand and re-furbished Tiger over a 2 year period. All rot replaced, 5 coats of professional paint etc etc. Put her in the Coffs Harbour Marina where we lived aboard for 3 years (all through Covid) while we worked locally.
Nice 28" downwind sailing cat. She is in excellent condition and very roomy for a vessel of this size, perfect for 2 people. Two double cabins, galley with gas oven and Waeco 12v fridge. Great for first time cat owner. Extremely easy to sail.
