New Australian World Atlas Illustrated - Colorgravure, Melb 1950s
Very old hardcover atlas published in Melbourne in the early 1950s of 144 pages including articles about Earth, the Universe, Story of Man, The Four Great Racial Divisions, Aborigines, Earthquake Zones, various Statistics and Maps. The index is very informative as well as a guide to the correct page. In good condition for something about 70 years old. Pickup for cash in Canberra. Price doesn't include postage.

Initially they fought in WWII in the Mediterranean then were sent to fight in the Pacific where they were ultimately sunk in the Battle of Sunda Strait. Half the crew survived only to become POWs who were sent to work on the Burma Thai railway.
