John French 1972 Ford Falcon GTHO Phase III Bathurst - second outright
$305
I have for sale the rare and collectable 1:18 Scale model of the 1972 Ford Falcon GTHO Phase III driven by John French to second place in the 1972 Bathurst Hardie Ferodo 500.
This model is one of a limited number of 2004.
This was the rain affected race in 1972 which saw Peter Brock take his first Bathurst victory in The Holden Torana GTR Xu-1. This Phase III Driven by John French finished second and the Chrysler Valiant Charger of Doug Chivas finished Third. It was the first time all three Australian Manufacturers shared the podium.
This model is exceptional the striking Wild Violet metallic paint is a real stand out. Especially when you consider that most of the other Falcons ran either a Red, White, Yellow or Blue livery.
This is one of my favourite models. It is built by Biante and has opening doors, Boot and Bonnet which is becoming less common in modern day models. This model also comes with a signed certificate of authenticity which only adds to its value.
This model is as new and only displayed briefly, in a Smoke, UV and dust free display cabinet. It was then returned to its box for safe keeping. The model, certificate and otter coloured box are in mint condition. The information brochure that comes with the model has a minor tear (Please see the photo)
The Photo forms part of the description. This model is a must for nay Bathurst, Ford or John French fan, remembering that John later co driver with Dick Johnson for their first Bathurst victory.
This model is rare and hard to get in good condition. It is a must for any collector and you will not be disappointed when you add this model to your collection.
Direct deposit is preferred.
