C-1 mics are capable of capturing much more detail than most dynamic microphones because of their wider, flatter frequency response. This is, as far as I know, that at the time of purchase was the only one in Australia. I bought it new. It is a Bruce Wei Model HU-17. I retro fitted the Harp pegs with Banjo pegs, which are immune to the string tension de-tuning them. Current tuning of the Harp section is F.A.C.E the rest are standard Tenor tuned strings. (Low G).C.E.A The harp strings can be tued to whatever tuning you desire. Not to high though :-) .
