Circa 1960, the Australian Army Ceremonial Parade Dress and General Duty Dress changed from Jungle Green to a Khaki Polyester uniform.
The badges offered here were introduced for wear:
• The Musician Badge depicts a machine embroidered lyre on oak leaves surmounted by a crown on a khaki polyester background. The badge measures 50 mm x 50 mm. This badge was worn by members who had qualified as a musician. This badge was worn on the right sleeve of Khaki Polyester shirts.
The Musician Badges were worn on Khaki Polyester Shirts circa 1960 until the 1980s and were replaced by new styles of embroidered badges. The badges are in good unissued condition.
Pick-up from Forest Lake or postage extra. Regular Postage will cost of $1.50.
