New Pioneer UDP-LX500 Blu-ray Player Audiophile Grade Cost $4000

Bought few weeks ago factory sealed from Australian authorised dealer for $3600 which is rock bottom negotiated price (their regular orice $4000).
Legendary discontinued early 2019 model. Current brand new price is 4K plus and is going up. In my opinion, true treasure blu-ray player as there is NOTHING to upgrade. I bought it factory sealed and only tested once. In my opinion, the only competitor is also discontinued in 2018 OPPO UDP-203/205 blu-ray player.I have compared Pioneer UDP-LX500 and OPPO UDP-205 side by side, with identical settings, in my house. Pioneer UDP-LX500 has better 4K video - the difference is small, but you can see it immediately. Sound quality is about the same. I compared the sound from coaxial digital output. Pioneer UPP-LX500 build quality is next to none. Brand new unit. Comes with original remote, power cord, printed manuals in several languages, genuine box. Free postage.
