Hello hello!
Unfortunately my time in Australia is coming to an end (for now 😉) and I would love to see my “Big Marie” in good hands of new keen travellers! I build her by myself from being nothing but a great and well taken care of van, to a still great and well taken care of van but also a super comfortable home with anything you need. And I am not exaggerating she really drives like a dream!✨🥰
She’s got:
⚡️solar and alternator set up
⚡️120ah lithium battery
⚡️25A dcdc charger (new from march)
⚡️3000watts inverter to power literally anything! (You’ll have a fancy fit out that includes air fryer a nutribullet)
⚡️80l upright fridge kings
⚡️jumper cable self charge
⚡️new car battery (so you won’t use the jumper cables ever 😅-only to help others!)
💦⚡️ electric pull out tap and sink
🚿shower
👩🍳Coleman double burner gas stove (with two option to use small gas bottles or add a big one)
👩🍳all pots an pan sizes you should need
👩🍳 heaps of cutlery, plates and bowls
⛺️2x Camping chairs
⛺️camping table
⛺️1x throw tent
⛺️2x sleeping bags
⛺️big Kings awning
⛺️heat blanket for cold nights
⛺️Coleman chargeable big fan for warm nights
⛺️ rooftop fentilator
⛺️ more blankets and pillows
⛺️ heaps of storage
🤿snorkeling set and fins
🏄♀️6,5ft hardboard surfboard (if wanted)
🚐mosquito/fly net in back and one side door
🚐2x 20l diesel Jerry cans for long trips!
When I build her, I insulated the roof before installing the beautiful woodceiling. She’s got everything you need and space for you to add you own touch. She is already well equipped with dimmable lights, bright lights, colored, outside and of cause the must have fairy lights 😉. The mattress is a super comfortable spring mattress from ikea that allows you to sleep like a stone. With the airfryer and nutribullet that you can easily run on that system you can make all your camping mates jealous, same as the huge fridge where you can even store some ice cream 😋.
After listing a lot about the interior that I am very proud of I have to mentioned I am even more proud of the car itself. While 370k for this diesel engine is nothing and my mechanic told me she would run until 1million when I took it to him before buying, I am still super happy she is running so smooth and without any problems. Cars in Australia are old and you never know and most of my friends had problems with their vans over and over again. But she would never make me worry. Thanks to the turbo she pulles well and is considerable very cheap on fuel for such a big van! On her ca.60l tank I can go 550-probably 650km (I never run empty). Coming from Queensland I just went with her for the inspection for the WA plates, which is very strickt! She passed as a great and safe car and is now registered in WA so you won’t have registration problems!

Bought this car for $3200 in November 21 for my sons to learn how to drive a manual. Only 1 decided to, and now we want to buy a bigger van/station wagon as they're all musos. Spent another $3,100 on the new braking system, fixed up the gear box and engine overhaul (see pic of receipt from Pebco Mechanics). New battery. New stereo. It hasn't been driven much, by us, but it's a zippy car that runs smoothly. I enjoy taking it for spin cause its fun and takes me back to my manual driving days. 299000kms runs fantastic and looking to make some long-haul road trips! I bought this ute with a lot of work done by the previous owner who set it up for cross-country driving. Unfortunately, I don't have the full list of all the mods he included, but a savvy buyer would be able to suss it out by its performance. The only reason I'm selling is because I need to downsize. My circumstances have changed and I'm not using it for what I originally intended. Got it serviced a few months back, airconditioning was regassed and wheels realigned. Has a Bluetooth radio. Drove me to work from Fremantle to Midland with no issues for the past year. Has WA rego. In the last year I have been travelling a lot off-road and overland. I have repaired and rebuilt so much that I have put a good 20,000 doller into the car since I bought it. Here is a short list.
