- Quality Plants raised in CanberraBeing a gardener who likes to grow her own plants, I am a bit of a compulsive potter and I am now in a situation where I have gone overboard and potted far too many plants to fit into my townhouse courtyards. The result is that I have a variety of plants for sale. Some of the plants on sale include: a large cumquat in a decorative pot, pencil pines, numerous black rose succulents in various sizes up to 1.3m in height, plus many other varieties of succulent - some ideal for display in pots whileNegotiableKingston, ACT•1w
- Black Rose (Aeonium arboreum)I have “black rose” succulents in various sizes, some as tall as 1.3m. The leaves of the plant form large deep dark red, almost black rosettes – thus its common name. They make spectacular display pot plants on any balcony or patio, are very hardy and being succulents need little water. In other words, they love you and look good even if you are bit neglectful at times with your plants. They like full sunlight, and while I have only ever grown them outdoors I understand they also do well insideNegotiableKingston, ACT•1w

With its glossy dark green foliage it will make an outstanding ornament in a patio or courtyard setting. The plant is currently flowering and has already begun to produce some early season ripened fruit. The cumquat must be seen to be appreciated. I also want to advise you that the plant is taller and the pot is larger and heavier than you may assume from the photos. Anyone purchasing the cuNegotiableKingston, ACT•1w

- Agava attenuata (Foxtail Agave)Foxtail is one of the few agave that do not have serrated edges and are thus easy to handle. It is characterised by a soft foliage that is absolutely lovely to look at. The stem grows as leaves fall off while the plant ages, but it also produces small “pups” that can be taken off and potted to produce a new plant. I originally brought my agave from Sydney but have grown them very successfully in Canberra for many years though the plant is somewhat frost sensitive and needs a bit of protection wNegotiableKingston, ACT•1w
