The figures present in excellent used condition with no damage to them. No cracks or chips. The figures include a mother holding her small baby and is called "A MOTHERS LOVE" and a boy holding a small puppy with one also at his legs called "BEST FRIENDS" made in Japan. The slightly younger pair with the column and chequered pattern on the front have "GERMANY" stamped on the base with only the cloves jar having some slight crazing on one side. There may be a maker's name moulded into the white base but it is indistinguishable (I hope it's not Meissen porcelain). The tones of the pottery are very earthy in colour and match the tones of the red centre soil , sand and clays found there. There are no damage to either of the items. The bowl measures 20 cm in diameter and 6 cm high. The vase bowl measures 13 cm across , 8 cm at the top and 8 cm on the base.
