Georges Rouault The parade 1938 serigraph

Preowned original Georges Rouault 1938 serigraph titled "The Parade". Serigraph is based on the 1934 aquatint "Cirque de l'Etoile Filante" (last posted picture). Piece published by Ambroise Vollard in an edition of 250 in 1938. Screen printed by Roger Lacourière, Paris in eleven colours on cream wove paper. The serigraph overall is in near pristine condition with very light signs of handling and with no evidence of framing or matting. Paper size: 72-cm x 53-cm, image size: 60-cm x 38-cm. Piece is presently in a rolled up state, contained in a cardboard tube. Pick up from Lindfield, though post out is possible here.
