'The Pressed Plant' - The Art of Botanical Specimens, Nature Prints and Sun Pictures by Andrea DiNoto & David Winter in very good condition. It's a First Edition Second Printing hardback as per photo 3.
The blurb:- Real plants captured in paper gardens are the focus of 'The Pressed Plant', the first book to examine artwork created with the plant itself. Lavishly illustrated and containing examples that range from eighteenth to the twentieth century - many never before published - here is a fascinating view of the natural world, beautifully preserved.

160 page hardback. Published by Stewart, Tabori & Chang in 1999 [1st Edition 2nd Printing]. ISBN 1-55670-936-6. [Approx 28.5 x 21.5 x 2.3cms & 930g].
This beautifully illustrated hardback is in very good condition with pages clean and tightly bound. Exterior shows some signs of use/storage as per photos 1 & 2 including a little rubbing to some edges of the dust cover with a crease to the top of its back and its associated flap where it has taken a bit of a knock - which has also left an impression and slightly broken a small piece of the top layer of the hardcover. There's also a light mark to the bottom edge of the closed pages near the spine, and about an inch of the back hardcover has been rubbed in the same area which has broken/rubbed the top layer of the hardcover there too.
