'Shrubs for Tropical & Subtropical Gardens' by Harry Oakman in very good condition.
Among other things, Harry Oakman was a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects and a Fellow of the Royal Australian Institute of Parks and Recreation and was for many years the Manager of the Brisbane City Council Department of Parks. As such he's well positioned to offer Queenslanders [and others] a bit of advice on local conditions.

- a comprehensive index of common names to help gardeners identify particular shrubs

The book is in very good condition with pages clean and tightly bound. Exterior shows minor signs of use/storage as per photos 1 & 2, with the edge of the spine having faded to blue from life in a bookcase.
Also have some other gardening books listed separately at present including 'Tropical & Subtropical Gardening' also by Harry Oakman.
