New Martinez Koa Traveller w Piezo Pickup, Bone Saddle & Prepwork!
$259
It's not possible to stock all models from the range so apart from the std versions, there's often just one of these piezo pickup versions here.
Perfect for the Muso on the move, a student, or even an old pro on a budget, who wants an instrument to take on the road, or to play at home!
The Traveller Series Features;
* Natural Satin Finish.
* Arched Back (for better projection).
* 58cm Scale Length.
* Baby Dreadnought Body (3/4 size) 89cm overall length. Please give this your attention!!! I'm not Kmart so I don't accept returns. This is not a full size guitar, that's why it's a Traveller.
Here is what I do on each guitar before it's ready for sale, that sets me apart;
* Polish the frets (makes a nice difference) and fret-dress if and where needed.
* Fretboard and Bridge hydration treatment.
* Neck Relief correctly adjusted.
* Adjust Nut Action as needed.
* Most importantly, I have also thrown away the plastic bridge saddle (see pic) and shaved and fitted a genuine compensated bone item, so it sounds great, has a nice confortable playing action, and now it's ready to go and better than the rest!
Note: Bone Saddles cost me $10 each per guitar. Why would I lose that from my margin if I wasnt driven my passion?
We are getting up to 20% more projection out of the soundhole with the Bone Saddle upgrade, and bone has a degree of self lubrication too. It minimises ticking when tuning up.
* They don't come with a front strap pin, but I fit that for you at no extra cost, because it matters!
Music Shops cant afford the time on such a cheap guitar with a small margin.
There are online Sellers who can sell you a guitar in a box that may not be set up and is therefore, harder to play, but at least it's cheap! If you want to enjoy playing, don’t go down that path!
Seriously, all guitars that arrive here from Vic sit for a week before I do my prepwork on them as they respond dramatically to Qld climate. Once they drink the humidity, the body swells and raises the string action, requiring a saddle shave and more.
I do this for you to enjoy your Guitar, as many people give up learning because the guitar is poorly set up and hard to play.
Surely all of the above must count as added value. I charge people approx $120 when they bring their own guitars in to get my prepwork done, but it's free with the purchase of any of my steel string acoustic guitars..
I set aside an hour for each visitor so that I can give you my full attention without interruption, so that we can match you with the right instrument.
We are a small family business.
You won't be dealing with a frustrated rockstar whose focus is on going home, you'll be dealing with me, and I do this out of passion.
The Martinez Brand are owned by a Melbourne based Company, so buy with confidence.
I don't haggle on price...ever! I simply don't respond to offers (and ignore trolls).
I work from my private Studio/Workshop at my property in beautiful Mapleton, in a semi-retired basis and am therefore only available by appointment; Mon to Fri 8am-1pm. Closed on public holidays.

- Takamine P3MC steel string guitarThis is a very pretty guitar (i love the cedar and the tuners). It is newly bought only a month ago, so is as new, and I do like it a lot. Aside from the looks the appeals to me are the neck which especially suits electric player players as it isn’t wide at all and the action is so low. It is fast and very playable. The body also isn’t big at all so again very comfortable. It is a good gigging guitar (the tuner on board…how could you not love that) but I have only gigged it once. I just enjoy t$1,445SHIPPING OFFEREDNegotiablePeachester, QLD•52w
