A QUALITY ITALIAN / GERMAN MOVEMENT GRANDFATHER CLOCK/DISPLAY CABINET
Displaying a high standard of cabinet making with genuine inlay [not transfer] floral panels with an 8 day German, weight driven, clock movement with a brass/ceramic dial, 2 internal glass display shelves and shaped glass sides and bevilled door glass, by Stile Fomm of Italy c. 1960s.
In very good working condition playing gentle Westminster chimes on the quarter hour plus hourly chime [has SILENCE lever[. The 2 original working keys are included.
CONDITION: This clock has been extremely well looked after, the only fault being minor scratches on the bottom door near the key.
SIZE: 204 H x 50 D x 108 W cm.
I restore longcase clocks as a retirement hobby to prevent my body and brain from rusting. Hence why the lower pricing.

The dial is of silvered brass with engraved floral themed corners and marked Tempus Fugit in the arch [Tempus Fugit is NOT a brand, it is Latin for “Time Flies”, the term has been used for centuries].
