This set of Dawn Fraser pins commemorating her outstanding achievements was issued for the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.
The first pin is for the 1956 Melbourne Olympics, the second for the 1960 Rome Olympics and the third for the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, with each showing her medal count. The fourth is for the 1996 Atlanta Olympics when she participated in the torch relay and the fifth is to commemorate her as an Australian Olympic Legend in 2000.
Each pin is embedded with Dawn’s DNA, so they can never be copied.
This set is number 537 and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
It comes in its original cardboard slip cover.
There are a couple of small marks on the tin, but the contents are perfect.
This is a very collectable piece of sporting memorabilia.
Pickup: From the KFC carpark next to Mount Ommaney Shopping Centre, cash only.
Post: Australia-wide in a box with protection for $10.50, payment by bank deposit only.
