Do you remember pulling the petals off a daisy when you were a child? I have a good supply of old fashioned margarite daisies, which are hard to find in the nurseries these days. They will give you cut flowers for several months each year; however, the flowering season is now well behind us. Now is the time to plant these daisies in time for the spring growing season. I originally brought my agave from Sydney but have grown them very successfully in Canberra for many years though the plant is somewhat frost sensitive and needs a bit of protection w

Black Rose (Aeonium arboreum)
I have “black rose” succulents in various sizes, some as tall as 1.3m. The leaves of the plant form large deep dark red, almost black rosettes – thus its common name. They make spectacular display pot plants on any balcony or patio, are very hardy and being succulents need little water. In other words, they love you and look good even if you are bit neglectful at times with your plants. They like full sunlight, and while I have only ever grown them outdoors I understand they also do well inside

Cumquat, in large high quality ornamental pot

I also want to advise you that the plant is taller and the pot is larger and heavier than you may assume from the photos. Anyone purchasing the cu
