Motor Manual January 68
MOTOR MANUAL magazine was an Australian Automotive Magazine originally published in April 1946 and later became known as Car Automotive from March 1986. The magazine was headquartered in Melbourne and distributed in both Australia and New Zealand.
Motor Manual has had a number of editors and publishers over the decades, amongst them; in the early 60’s, editor and publisher Keith Winser, the late 60’s, editor L. J. Shaw, publisher The Age Melbourne Magazine department, the 70’s, editor John Mellor, publisher Age Publications and in the 80’s, editor Paul Harrington, publisher Newspress. Motor Manual focused broadly on every aspect of modern car culture coupled with a taste of motor sport, history and technical aspects of the genre.
For sale is a January 1968 edition of Motor Manual Magazine featuring road tests of the Ford Galaxie and Corona 1600GT, along with an interesting piece about the vintage Hispano Suiza. The condition I would describe as 9/10, excellent condition for its 54 years age and an outstanding collectable. This magazine has some excellent articles for the Ford, BMC, Toyota and Volvo enthusiasts making it a worthwhile addition to your collection of motoring memorabilia.
