Wheels is an Australian car magazine owned by “ARE Media” who acquired it in 2020. Wheels Magazine is sold in Australia and New Zealand only and was founded in May 1953 by Ray Yeomans. Since 1963 Wheels annually announces its’ “Car of the Year”, an award created by Bill Tuckey. Wheels Magazine is highly regarded by Australian and New Zealand car enthusiasts and makes for a great read, covering every aspect of car culture.
For sale is a February 1956 edition of Wheels Magazine featuring the Hudson Hornet for 1956 and the 1954 Chrysler Windsor 100 (Road and Rail), along with an interesting in depth article “From Drawing Board to Sports Car”. The condition I would describe as 8/10, excellent condition for its age of 67 years. This magazine has some excellent articles for Holden, Chrysler, Hudson, GM and Bugatti enthusiasts making it a worthwhile addition to your collection of motoring memorabilia.
