Wheels March 1965
Wheels is an Australian car magazine owned by “ARE Media” who acquired it in 2020. Wheels Magazine is sold in Australia and New Zealand only and was founded in May 1953 by Ray Yeomans. Since 1963 Wheels annually announces its’ “Car of the Year”, an award created by Bill Tuckey. Wheels Magazine is highly regarded by Australian and New Zealand car enthusiasts and makes for a great read, covering every aspect of car culture.
For sale is a March 1965 edition of Wheels Magazine featuring the new HD Holden and the 115 MPH Hillman Imp for 1965, along with an interesting in depth article on the Getaway Cars: Lotus Super Seven, Triumph TR4, Austin Healey Sprite, Triumph Spitfire, Datsun Fairlady, MGB and MGB GT. The condition I would describe as 9/10, excellent mint condition for its age of 58 years. This magazine has some excellent articles for Holden, Imp, Datsun, Lotus, Triumph and MG enthusiasts making it a worthwhile addition to your collection of motoring memorabilia.
