Toyota Hilux ECB Bullbar
$370
One very good condition Hilux ECB bullbar, to suit 10/88 to 10/97 Hilux 4 x 4, with independent front end.
Mine was a 2002 model, 2wd version of the hilux, it had the independent front end. I think it was just the mounting kits for these bars were different between models.
There is an identical ute to the one I had , with the very same bar on it for over $2800, in one of the trader adds.
It would probably fit up to other hilux models of the same era, or newer models ??? one just would have to make up some mounts to suit. Which I was going to do and didn't get there.
I have loaded a picture of the bracket I made up for my daughters 80 series some years ago.
To mount this bar to any other car or another hilux ,would be a bracket made similar to the one in the picture.
It will definately not fit my current Hilux, so it is time to go.
These bars for the older Hiluxes still cost @ $2800 from ECB, but you must wait around 6 weeks for it to be made up.
All rubbers and blinkers are available from ECB, or bullbar shops, I bought my current bullbar from an Inverell supplier and he stocked all ECB stuff.
I just purchased one for my current Hilux and it was just over $ 2700, powder coated from them, I had to buy the bar from an accessory dealer. ECB do not sell direct any more, like they did when I bought my first one for an 80 series cruiser some years back.
A day spent with some alloy polish and it will come up like new. There is one tiny tiny ding on the right side hoop, so small you can hardly see it in the photo.
If interested or any questions, please ring me and I would be glad to answer them, I usually don't answer calls on unlisted or no i.d. numbers any more, due to the number of scam calls, but if you leave a message I will ring you back.
I do not check on the computer for messages every day as I am in and out, a phone call is the easiest way.
