Wardle & Co Pottery Vase, hand painted circa******1909

A beautiful Wardle & Co. vase, hand painted with sailing boat scenes. From the impressed makings to base the image title is “Off Gravesend”; the pattern number is 2022; and bears the impressed “WARDLE” mark for 1871 onwards, coupled with “ENGLAND” beneath making the final date being 1891 onwards. This would have been produced at the Wardle Co. Washington Works, Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent between******1909.
This item would appear to be a “one off” as I can find no equal. Whilst the work is titled, it is unsigned.
The vase measures 170mm High x 120mm approximate diameter.
There is a glaze flake to base rim about the size of a pin head and minor flea bites to the vase/spout rim (see photos). On close inspection fine age crazing is evident.
