10 antique and vintage lotions, rubs, gels, bandages, cuticle remover, etc all of which are medications and other items applicable externally and not ingested as follows with individual prices for purchase separately (and which are not negotiable individually):
1. 115mm tall brown glass 6 sided bottle (excluding bottom) for 2 ounces of Camphorated Oil made by Sigma Co. Ltd. in Melbourne around******1955 as a rub on analgesic for sore muscles. There is only a little left in the bottle. Front label intact with "NOT TO BE TAKEN" embossed onthe glass on the back with 36 exes on both sides of that. Small gold coloured metal lid has some spotty rust ($17);
2. 140mm tall, 48mm diameter tubular metal and cardboard tin for 4 ounces of Boracic Acid powder. Tin is half full. Boracic acid powder mixed with water was used in the early 1900s to bathe wounds and as an eyewash and less often to counter perspiration and foot smell. This tube was made by The Wholesale Drug Co. Ltd. in Sydney in the 1920s before warnings had to be include on such containers. Spotty rust on lid, base ok and label mostly intact except for small areas near lid. ($18);
3. 52mm tall, 60mm diameter clear glass jar with black bakelite lid of T.C.P. ointment. Made by British Alkaloids Ltd. in London in 1940-50s as an antiseptic ointment for hard, dry, cracked skin and for it's decongestive action in relieving piles. Jar unopened and appears full or very close to full. Only one label which states "T.C.P. OINTMENT". ($8);
4. 100 x 40 x 20mm cardboard box containing a free sample plastic and metal tube (completely intact) of the "new greaseless Vicks VapoRub" clear vaporizing gel to relieve the stress of colds. Instructions included in box. Made by Richardson-Merrell P/L in 1960s later taken over by Procter & Gamble. ($10);
5. 33mm tall, 48mm diameter pop-out metal Elastoplast plastic adhesive strapping tin for cuts and abrasions where it needed to be waterproof. Made in 1960-70s in England by T J Smith & Nephew Ltd. One rotation of strapping left. ($4);
6. 73mm tall clear glass bottle with 34 x 18mm base and black bakelite cap for Cutex Oily Cuticle Remover (half full) with applicator stick and instructions inside box. Box has lid missing. Northam Warren created Cutex in New York in 1911. This bottle was made in between 1940 and 1960. It cost 2 shillings originally. According to a European ebay ad, it is very rare. ($22);
7. 100 x 50 x 50mm box containing "4 inches x 7 yards" of "B.P.C. 1934 Paste-Impregnated Bandage. It was made by Cuxson, Gerhard & Co. Ltd. in Birmingham, England in accordance with a formula mentioned in The British Medical Journal, October 4th, 1930 for use in cases of "varicose ulceration or phlebitis". Bandage still sealed in clear plastic but dessicated. ($26);
8. 50 x 45 x 45mm box in fair condition (lid flap parts missing) containing a round dark glass jar with black bakelite lid for Iodex. Less than a quarter left. Iodex was a refined unguent used where an analgesic, antiseptic, penetration and inflammation-reducing agent was needed. Made by Smith Kline & French Laboratories Aust. Ltd. in North Sydney in 1930s. ($30);
9. 55mm tall and in near perfect condition 1940s 1/4 ounce packet of cotton wool encased in plastic for extra protection. ($10); and
10. 130mm longby 80mm wide and 30mm high loosely secured 1 ounce packet of white "Endura" absorbent lint for bandaging cuts and abrasions. Made by The Wholesale Drug Co. Ltd. in England in 1950s for distribution from its Sydney company in Australia. Packaging a little ratty and label mostly intact. ($5).

- 5 Vintage Small Silverplated Meat Serving ForksCollection of 5 vintage/perhaps antique meat server forks. Most are silverplated although the silver has worn off the oldest 5-pronged one. That one was made by Mappin and Webb, silversmiths based in both London and Sheffield between about 1880 and 1920. Unfortunately, it has a crack in the faux bone-handle on one side too. The longest one with the pinkish faux bone-handle is about 175mm long and the shortest (all metal) is 140mm long. Postage is not included in price. - Old Trident 3-Pronged Bone-Handled & Silverplated Bread Server ForkVintage faux bone-handled and silverplated trident style bread server fork. Note the stylish way the tines were designed and the carved end of the faux bone-handle. There are no marks to indicate where or by whom it was made but I would suggest it was made in England.
