KLH 1230-SB speakers are three way large bookshelf design in a sealed enclosure. They are made in the USA and are fitted with 12in bass drivers and a metal tweeter. I have upgraded the tweeter on these with a genuine (much better) KLH tweeter. The speakers are rated at 170w and are 8 ohm. The speakers do not have covers and the boxes are average. They do operate perfectly and have excellent sound quality. Happy to demo.
