Grafted Apple Trees Dwarf and low chill
$49
Grafted Apple Trees – Dwarf and low chill
Pick up from Tewantin, QLD
Trees are around 1.5 to 1.8 meters in height in 200mm pots. Ready to plant out.
I have the following varieties:
-Tropic Sweet
-Tropical Anna
-Golden Dorsett
-Fuji
-Cripps Pink
-Sundowner (Dwarf only)
I have them grafted onto different rootstocks
$49 Semi dwarf (grows to 4-5 meters)
$49 Dwarf (Grows to around 3.5 meters)
$55 Super Dwarf (step-over apple, grows to about 2.5 meters or trained low)
All of these varieties have low enough chill to flower for me in Tewantin, QLD.
Growing tips:
Apples need cross pollinating for fruit, so you need at least 2 different apple trees growing together. Dwarf and super dwarf apples should remain staked to support the tree. Protect your fruit from wildlife with netting. It takes about 2-3 years for them to produce enough blooms to start producing well. The more apple varieties you grow the better the pollination is making fatter fruit.
I love my apple orchid, spring time apple blossom smells divine!
