Seller's Description
Up for sale is my 1999 GC8 WRX Sedan. It has been professionally re sprayed. I have just added a set of JSA 18x8.5 alloy wheels and new tires valued at more than $2000. Also just spent over 2k having the tappet cover gaskets done, new plugs, leads and a few boost leaks fixed. I have been sourcing OEM parts and replacing them. Have just added new park lights, new smoked side indicator lights plus other OEM parts around the car. I am in no rush to sell and the price is firm. Will come with a road worthy and the remaining QLD rego if sold in QLD.

⁃ New pod filter and replaced the maf sensor.

Part’s already on the car when purchased:
The motor was the matching number original. Previous owner before the guy i bought it off done a healthy comp test on the motor,
new timing belt,
water pump,
thermostat,
hoses,
low km vf34.
Plugs and leads,
AVO full stainless 3” exhaust,
white line and hardrace everything with the driveline to be able to be track raced.
Group N engine and gear box mounts.
Plazmaman Front Mount intercooler kit.
Slotted DBA rotors.
Savage boost and afr gauges on the pillar (afr non functioning)
HKB hub kit with Genuine MOMO Competition steering wheel

Everything works as it should
The bc coils are inverted track models with big bore pistons and adjusting at the bottom.
All the CV shafts were rebuilt.
Sti style rear wing, hood scoop and front lip.
The interior was sad as shit in this thing and the guy i bought it off neglected the car entirely. I got my hands on a parts car with low k’s and an almost immaculate interior. So far i have taken some things off and replaced them in my car like the front seats. I planned on changing out almost all of the interior including carpet, hood liner, door cards, dash cluster and other dash parts etc. I had planned on doing an STI swap for the motor and gearbox but that has been put off due to buying a new house.
The car unfortunately got caught in a freak hail storm last October in Townsville which copped a heap of small chips only, no dents except one on the quarter panel. Shannons insurance is covering a partial paint job but because the previous owner did such a poor backyard paint job i forked out for the rest of the re spray which was done at Auto Colour Refinishing in Townsville.
I have spent somewhere in the range of 15-20k since owning this car and have been sourcing tons of OEM parts for it. I have receipts for everything done since owning and have been very meticulously taking care of it. Its a great, zippy little car to drive around and has no mechanical issues whatsoever. There is probably a few more things i have missed but everything is accurate.
