It’s a Yamaha, what more needs to be said, they just build great things regardless of what there’re building. This one hails from the late 80s 60 watts a channel so decent output Has the valuable loudness feature which is always cool for dialing in just enough to suit. Direct signal button. Good phono stage. Safe to say that NAD ruled the budget minded audiophile in the early 80’s offering well built, great sounding amps to the masses without the need for to much pinching and saving. The legacy of the NAD 3020 lives on in the 7225pe - it is essentially a 3020 with a built in receiver and more power, at only 25watts the amps are renowned for driving any kind of speaker, which is a remarkable feat of audio engineering. Not the most well know of the AU series but still worthy of the attention and respect of the budget conscious audio file with a hole in their pocket. Built in 82 35 watts per channel, Mm/mc cartridge options A/b speakers, Nice phono section. Has been serviced - fault check, cleaned. Has what we’ve come to expect from mij hifi gear though pre/power amp splitting would have been a cool addition. Pick up Canberra or Wollongong available but could also post.

This fantastic little beast hails from Luxman’s early days in the late 60’s and marks the company’s early foray into solid state amplifier design. It is a fantastic little amplifier that puts out 30 watts aside into 8ohms. Recently cleaned, serviced and modified with a clip in style speaker wire harness.
