For sale is a lovely vintage set of Mulga wood book ends in a modernist cone shape. The set were made by Crown Australia and are probably from the 1960s. They are in excellent used condition and retain the original stamp and screws to the base. They appear to be model 406. There is no damage or scratches, but there is some crazing in the high shine lacquer due to their age. A classic piece of Australiana. They could even be repurposed as coat hooks. Old carving knife, fork and steel as follows: - rectangular faux bone-handled carving knife with U shaped handle end and hardened steel blade made by Harrison Bros & Howson in Sheffield between 1910 and 1913. It was made during that time because the blade has stamped on it "CUTLERS TO HIS MAJESTY" plus a crown with "G" and "R" on either side of it which refers to King George V (George Regina) who began his reign in 1910 and knife blades were made from stainless steel after it's invention in 19

Lovely stirling silver half crown counter container made in London in 1961 by silversmiths C. J. Vander Ltd. It is 2.5cm high with lid diameter 3cm and base diameter 2.5cm. The container weighs 22 grams. It is presented in it's original leather, timber and navy blue velvet box which has brass hinges and shutting clip with dimensions 56 x 56 x 42 mm. Postage would be extra.

Both of these beaded pattern epns sugar tongs are stamped with "A1" and "EDWARD" plus a shield shaped stamp with a small crown shape above EP within it. The A1 means first quality silverplate. The "EDWARD" means it was made by George Edward in London, probably in the 1920s. The longer sugar tongs measure 14cm and the shorter about 12cm.

Postage is extra. Cash if picking up locally in Canberra. Lovely little teaspoon or demitasse spoon with gold leaf pattern on bottom of bowl of spoon. The finial of the spoon with the 3 gold fleur de lis, the crown and horse holding a pennant flag indicates it is from Rouen in France. Note that the finial is sitting on a silver coffee bean which in turn is held by the loop of a silver branch. A very ornate collector's spoon.
