Hi, I am giving away these dining table chairs, 2 x cravers and 6 x normal chairs. No nails or bolts, some type of hardwood. Some chairs need repacking as the hardwood has shrunk over the years. No idea of age, they came from the canberra region where i bought them of a young couple who got the set from their grandmother. And i have no idea what sort of timber it is. Pick up is Gayndah. A wonderful book, and a great introduction to those who want to learn about veteran cars from their introduction, including the evolution of cars from as far back as the 1700s. It describes very well, also, the workings of the steam and internal combustion engines. This antique children's furniture has been looked after and passed down from mother to daughter then grand-daughter. They are solid wood in good condition except for a small piece of the mirror missing from one corner on the dressing table.

The outside of the cabinet was varnished. It is perhaps 90 years old and might have been for a radio or gramophone, being very open with nothing to obstruct the sound. Would be a good display cabinet for a florist's shop. Dimensions: 113 cm high, 65 cm wide and 46 cm from front to rear. Moving it would require 2 sturdy people. (It was used for storing items which have now gone, hence no longer needed.)

I purchased this rocking chair to restore but never got around to it. Cushion and strapping etc has been removed, leaving frame only. You will need to add the seat/back before it can be used. Frame in very good condition, very strong. Just needs a light sand and polish to get back to looking great. Spring base rocking mechanism still seems good to me.
