This is a rare-unique-custom made Fresh Air Snorkel made for a VW Dual Cab Kombi. It fits on the back corner of the Cab on the driver side where the Factory Air Vent for the Motor is. For those of you who are not aware that intake allows fresh air to run through the Tray box section to the Engine Bay where there is a round oulet thus providing fresh air to the Motor/Air Clleaner. This a genuine VW Bay Window Windsreen it does have slight wiper graze to top of screen but out of line of sight. May polish out. This is a Number Plate Light for VW Kombi from 1972 to 1979 and comes coplete with seal and globe. It is brand new and ready to fit. On Ebay they are listed for $45 postage. Bought for project but no longer required.

These are essential when using a Typ 3 Motor in your Kombi or Beetle. To use the Motor in your Bus or Beetle you need to remove the factory Oil filler and Dipstick Tube from the typ 3 motor leaving a hole at the bottom of the Case. This is where the block off plate is fitted. Of course if you want a Dip Stick without drilling the case, expensive and time consuming, fit the Dipstick Tube and reuse your Dipstick. It will even come up the original metal trim. New old stock and well below price.
