2007 FORD PJ RANGER 4x4 XLT 3.0L TURBO DEISEL DURATORQ Timing belt came loose whilst I was driving and now it won’t turn over (new belt installed). There was no noise or shudder whatsoever when it came off, I only noticed as I went to accelerate out a roundabout and nothing. I haven’t taken it to a mechanic but have had a friend take a Quick Look at it at home and he couldn’t get it to turnover but only spent 20 mins trying. 2011 (last year of the strong 3.0L Turbo Diesel WEAT engine) Ford Ranger, interior and exterior tidy enough but showing signs of wear; starts and runs and drives well. Air conditioning works, just had oil and oil filter and fuel and air filter changed. Few things for roadworthy like CV boots, wiper blades, tinting and some rust in the front of the tray.
