Boss PD1 Rocker Distortion is a drive pedal that engages with the heel and the level of distortion is set by the treadle so the player can adjust this while playing. This is a rather unique feature in a distortion pedal. There is also a warp mode switch at the toe end where distortion with much higher gain is generated.
